Cabana Man

Once upon a time in a city no one’s heard
There was a strange man who changed that suburb
In that cold rainy town he brought tropical flair
On his own hidden island to escape every care

Cabana Man!  That island pretender
Frown turns to smile as he starts up his blender
Troubles and worries you’ll forget them I think
When your toes hit the sand and your lips hit a drink
A drink from that off centered man, Cabana Man

Cabana Man zone wasn’t meant for himself
Every soul with a need can put cares upon the shelf
On the shelf behind the bar below the tequila and the rum
By the ipod playing Buffett, a shelf for everyone.

Cabana Man!  That island pretender
Frown turns to smile as he starts up his blender
Troubles and worries you’ll forget them I think
When your toes hit the sand and your lips hit a drink
A drink from that off centered man, Cabana Man

Cabana Man asks, “Are you tired of routine?
No escape from your job or that television screen?
Come find your escape, just kick back and relax,
Grab your loud shirt and shorts, make some tropical tracks!”

Cabana Man!  That island pretender
Frown turns to smile as he starts up his blender
Troubles and worries you’ll forget them I think
When your toes hit the sand and your lips hit a drink
A drink from that off centered man, Cabana Man
